Freedom

Yesterday I went to saloon to get my feet pampered(for those who haven't seen mine..I have a gorgeous pair). So, I prefer to take care of them on a regular basis.There I
caught hold of a movie trivia magazine, went through various trivia. But there was this one article which actually made me spend some time on it...& believe me I was patient(so much that it was around an hour I utilised reading that particular one).
After around an hour when I was done pampering myself..I started for home but still that page of the magazine did not leave my mind....so now I am sure it is clear that how much intrigued I was by that one page.
I am sure now its time I should reveal about the article.The page consisted of two photographs of gorgeous women...one of them being my inspiration since long - Shilpa Shetty(shhh...it is a secret, as you cannot make out that by looking at me,those who have met me would know what I mean), the other gorgeous lady was the daughter of our age old Lakshman of the film industry 'Anil Kapoor'- Sonam Kapoor.

Both the ladies looked ravishing in the "Electric Blue Dress". Sonam had teamed it with a funky neck piece & trendy huge sun glasses which she had worn to a charity show for under privileged children.Shilpa being the style icon did quote a fashion statement by clubbing it with a black legging & boots which was perfect for a product launch party.I looked at both the photographs & liked both of them..my eyes were appreciating both the dresses..however when I read the rest of the article it said,"Why did the newly wed,& now a wife of multi millionaire needed to wear the same dress by David & Elizabeth which the newly debutant actress wore to a charity show???

Such things which has no welfare purposes or any other purpose except embarrassing the film stars, but these things does titillate the media for no reasons & they would not mind publishing & wasting a whole page article on this.

Well the way both the ladies had worn the same dress did not let me think even for a single moment that it was the same. But somehow this made me think about it for a really long long time....its because I was thinking, imagine I get a top from any XYZ shop & any girl gets the same top from the same shop. Though I am sure mine would be XL & the girl's would be medium or small(which is the normal situation for me), & the media catches two girls wearing the same stuff in the same market one day.
The next day in Delhi times it captures one fourth of a page!!!! Should I be embarrassed? it is such a funny question I know....Would it be about that particular brand being popular among girls of all sizes?? or would it be how could Miss Roy wear the same top which Ms.ABC wore? All this is rubbish & we all know that. It does not matter what a common man wears or what he eats, or where does he goes for shopping etc etc.
I am from the common mob, & I know people from there only. Does it make any difference in anybody's life? Yes it does in mine!!! My life is peaceful, I have time for myself, for my family,friends & most importantly I have time to think about all this rubbish.
Some or the other time everybody amongst us do think being famous, to earn unbeleivable money & to be popular like the filmstars is such fun. Did we think that with great powers & fame comes huge responsibilities & that is where your life is no more your life ...it is for the public display.
I wear whatever I want to, we eat whatever we want & wherever without using fork & knife, I can kiss whomever I want to in public(except in front of my folks- thats respect)unlike MMS being made on me & people having fun at my expense ,I drink whenever possible, I breathe wherever I want to...that is the kind of freedom I enjoy being who I am- from the common crowd!!
